Eligibility Requirements
At RITA Africa, we prioritize inclusivity and excellence in our student body. To ensure a conducive learning environment and optimal outcomes for all learners, we have established the following eligibility criteria:
- Residency: Applicants must be African citizens residing in Africa. RITA Africa’s programs are currently designed to support learners based on the African continent.
- Assessment: All applicants must complete a 15-minute Welcome Interview with our Admissions Team. This session helps us understand your background, motivation, and readiness for the program. Successful completion of the interview is required to receive an invitation to the next stage of the admission process.
- Identity Verification: Applicants are required to upload a valid proof of identity document (e.g., national ID card, passport) during the application process.
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English language is essential, including reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
- Educational Background: There are no strict academic or degree requirements. Applicants should have basic literacy and numeracy skills sufficient to follow structured learning and complete assignments.
- Technology Access: Access to a reliable internet connection and necessary technology devices (e.g., computer, smartphone) for online learning.
- Motivation & Commitment: Applicants should demonstrate a genuine interest in building a career in technology and a commitment to actively participate and complete the program.
- Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of enrollment.
- Compliance: Applicants are expected to adhere to RITA Africa’s policies, code of conduct, and learning guidelines throughout the admission process and program duration.
